Biography
Callan Cohen and Claire Spottiswoode are research students at the Percy FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology at the University of Cape Town. Callan is currently Vice-Chairman of the Cape Bird Club, Africa's largest bird society. The authors are among the Cape's leading birders and have written for numerous ornithological and birding-related publications. They have also led many birding tours in South Africa for leading international tour companies.
