Biography

Axel Kwet received his PhD in Biology from the University of Tubingen, Germany. He is a professional herpetologist with focus on taxonomy and ecology of neo-tropical amphibians and reptiles, especially in southern Brazil and Uruguay. Since 2000 he has been employed in the Staatliches Museum fur Naturkunde in Stuttgart. His areas special interests: Neotropical and European amphibians and reptiles.
