British Wildlife is the leading natural history magazine in the UK, providing essential reading for both enthusiast and professional naturalists and wildlife conservationists. Published eight times a year, British Wildlife bridges the gap between popular writing and scientific literature through a combination of long-form articles, regular columns and reports, book reviews and letters.
The small but influential British Wildlife Publishing has acquired a formidable reputation as one of the UK’s leading wildlife publishers in its 25-year lifetime.
BWP is responsible for the British Wildlife magazine, and a very successful series of specialist field guides on insects in the British Isles, all with fabulous drawings by the internationally respected wildlife illustrator Richard Lewington. A new series, the British Wildlife Collection, definitive studies of individual aspects of Britain’s natural history, has recently been added.
Founded by Andrew and Anne Branson in 1989, the imprint was acquired by Bloomsbury Publishing in 2014.
