Plankton Net (500mm Frame)

These large plankton nets have a heavy duty stainless steel ring which is 500mm in diameter. A three-point harness is attached to the ring with shackles and welded lugs, with an eye to eye swivel connector for attachment to a rope or chain. The ring is fitted with a bag which has an industrial nylon collar and reinforced seams. The bag is 1900mm in length and has a heavy duty screw-on cod end filter at the bottom. The filter is fitted with the same mesh as the main body of the bag. 

Available with a mesh size of 53µm, 100µm, 150µm, 200µm, 250µm or 500µm.

Please note: this net is not supplied with a rope, just the three-point harness. You will need to supply your own rope or chain for attachment to the eye to eye swivel ring. If you are using the plankton net in saline or brackish water please rinse in freshwater after use and dry thoroughly to protect the net fixtures.
