Prion’s aim is to give the travelling bird watcher all the information he or she needs to make the most of their bird watching holiday. Compiled by birders with expert knowledge of the particular region or country, the Birdwatcher’s Guides list sites of interest to bird watchers and details of the bird species that can normally be seen. There are also details on the conservation status of birds likely to be seen, a full species list for each region or country, and advice on climate, clothing and health issues.
Books in this series are dedicated to BirdLife International, a global network of conservation groups, and one of the organisations NHBS works with.
