This book documents the results of an investigation of the amphibian fauna of the Key Biodiversity Area "Batang Gadis" in the province of North Sumatra in Indonesia in 2018 and 2019. A total of 48 species were inventoried in the area, including the species first scientifically described in 2017 Sigalegalephrynus mandailinguensis, which also adorns the cover of the book.
