Bald Eagle Nest: A Story of Survival in Photos contains more than 100 beautiful color photographs of Bald Eagles in flight and in the nest. The book tells the story of a family of Bald Eagles that raised four chicks to adulthood – a rare feat. The photos contained in Bald Eagle Nest illustrate feeding behavior, hunting, mating flight, behavior of chicks in the nest, brooding and grooming, and learning to fly.
Kate Davis is a photographer who specializes in raptors and the author of Raptors of the West. She lives in Montana.
