Biodiversity and Societies in the Pacific Islands covers topics relating to invasive species and more positive interactions between man and plant on the Pacific islands. With contributions from both scientists in the natural sciences and the humanities, different approaches to island biodiversity are illustrated, highlighting that questions of biodiversity conservation are interdisciplinary in nature. Biodiversity and Societies in the Pacific Islands is co-publication with the Australian National University Press.
