About this product

Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish

The city of Ronda is located in the northwestern part of the providence of Málaga, Spain. On the map, twelve trails have been marked out that permit one to traverse the city of Ronda and its surroundings and get to know the enormous diversity of birds, places, and landscapes. Nearly 140 bird species can be found in the different habitats that these routes traverse. The flipside of the map contains altitude profiles for all twelve routes (for the city is divided in two by a steep canyon carved out by the Guadalevín River), and a table with scientific, Spanish, and English bird names and their status, phenology and recommend observation hotspots. Finally, 24 of the most characteristic species are profiled with a short description, a colour photo, and a QR code that can be scanned to access an online recording of their song.
