This Insect Rearing Cage uses Nylon netting (150 x 150 mesh) with 160 µm aperture for ventilation and is large enough for potted plants to be used inside and to easily walk around inside.
The framework is made of durable aluminum and constructed outside the enclosure.
A mesh cage threads onto these poles to create a self-contained environment which can be used to breed and maintain insects. As the framework is positioned outside the enclosure there are no places for insects to hide inside the cage.
The fine nylon cage is particularly suitable for use with aphids, parasitic wasps and thrips.
