Peter Holden has worked for the RSPB for over 30 years and is currently head of the Youth and Volunteer Department. He is a consultant for BBC's Blue Peter and he teamed up with Bill Oddie for Bird in the Nest in 1994 and 1995. More recently he presented the award-winning series Habitats for Channel 4 schools. Peter is the author of several books, including the RSPB Guide to British Birds and, most recently, the RSPB Handbook of British Birds which was published in May 2002.
