This database incorporates not only all the information which normally can be found in a printed version of a field guide – a full description of the species, behavior, color sketches and distribution maps – but also a comprehensive set of vocalizations, for the majority of species much more than one example. In fact more than 830 different sound files are included on Disc 2 alone, as well as checklists from over 35 different localities in South East Brazil. These are all cross-referenced to the distribution maps.
