In this collection of drawings, collages, and poetry, Maggie Dimon celebrates an "alphabet" of birds that have touched her heart. From the seldom-seen Nightjar to the unfairly maligned Vulture, we are encouraged to pay attention to the beauty and uniqueness of winged creatures that often go unnoticed in our daily lives.
Maggie Dimon is an artist and nature enthusiast currently residing in Naples, Florida. Her volunteer work at the von Arx Wildlife Hospital of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida brings her into close contact with native wildlife. Maggie is a dedicated yogi who also enjoys travelling with her husband to visit far-flung family throughout the United States and Africa.
