About this book

Format: Hardback

Pages: 128 including colour images

This photographic book offers a unique view of Antarctica from above, complemented by images from the ground. Aerial photography in Antarctica is in its infancy and drones may only be flown with a scientific or commercial license. A number of the drone photographs have been taken primarily for penguin surveys by researchers from the Penguin Watch group at Oxford and Oxford Brooks University. The captions and text touch on wildlife and conservation in Antarctica. The publisher will donate 25% of the profits from the sale of the book to Penguin Watch to support their ongoing research on penguins and climate change in Antarctica.
