A systematic list of birds for Anglesey from the earliet records to 1999 are provided, including records of rarities and information on breeding, wintering and habitat use of over 300 species. An additional chapter is provided on the birds of Puffin Island, an important seabird breeding site on the East coast of Anglesey. It is enriched with water colours and photographs from around Anglesey, and also incorporates line drawings by local wildlife artist Philip Snow.
