About this book

Language: French

This second edition, fully updated and expanded with newly found species, allows the precise identification of 106 species and subspecies (adults and larvae) of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Designed for the field, this book has many advantages: illustrated keys for identifying adults and larvae; all dragonflies in the area concerned are presented with a distribution map, status, habitat, and possible confusion species; drawings and photographs illustrate all species (males and females) and their identification criteria. Plates in the appendix make it possible to quickly compare the drawings of the abdomens as well as the wing venation (pterographies). All the requirements are there to facilitate the identification of dragonflies.
