Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish witn scientific nomenclature
Colombia is considered one of the 12 megadiverse countries and ranks sixth globally and fourth in the Americas in terms of mammal richness. This guide pictures 110 terrestrial, aquatic and aerial mammals of the 526 recorded in the country. Scientific and bilingual vernacular species names are given, as well as an indication of size. For ground-dwelling species, a small drawing of footprints with an approximate size is included.
