The colugo is about the size of a domestic cat, nocturnal, and feeds mainly on leaves. It can glide up to 136 metres.

This book comes with a short, 5-minute DVD that contains footage that, at the time of publcation in 2007, was unique, and shows the colugo running, feeding and gliding.
