Compact 20W Actinic Skinner Moth Trap (12V)

About this product

This Compact Skinner Moth Trap is battery operated and so is not reliant on mains electricity. It has a built-in light sensor which turns the lamp on and off automatically, thereby maximising the battery life.

The trap is made from lightweight, durable polypropylene and can be packed flat so that it fits into a daysack. It is easy to assemble and can be used anywhere. The light source is a 20W compact actinic bulb (please see the accessories below for replacement bulbs). A rain guard is included which will protect the bulb, should it start to rain during the night. The upper panels of the trap are clear so that the moths can be easily viewed, pin-pointed and assessed.

The trap will run for 10 hours using a 22Ah lead-acid battery or for 6 hours using a 14Ah lithium battery. Please note that the battery and charger are not included with this trap and must be purchased separately.

The assembled trap measures 48cm (H) x 35cm (W) x 35cm (D) and weighs 3kg. The electric control box weighs 1.5kg.

A convenient carrying bag is available to purchase separately.
