The present book is based on the herbarium specimens, digitized images and descriptions of newly discovered plants from Nepal published in various publications. The type specimens of Nepalese flowering plants were collected from different localities of Nepal and are preserved in herbaria of Nepal, India, United Kingdom, Japan, France, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, United State of America, and many other countries. The prime objective of this book is to compile all the information about the flowering plants discovered from Nepal in a single volume. This will help to locate the herbaria where the specimens are preserved and also help to prepare the flora of Nepal.
