This hedgehog sign has been designed by the People’s Trust for Endangered Species to highlight holes in garden fences and walls that are used by hedgehogs and are vital to allow them to move between habitats. Hedgehog numbers have declined rapidly in the UK over the last fifty years, largely due to a loss of suitable habitat and restricted movement. Putting a hole in a garden wall or fence can connect previously isolated habitats and in-doing so hugely benefit this iconic species.
This sign is cut from recycled plastic acrylic and features pre-drilled holes for easy installation. We recommend that the signs are bought in pairs to install on either side of the hedgehog hole.
