This sweep net has the same net bag and frame design as the Standard Sweep Net but has a longer 50cm handle. It is is purposefully designed for collecting invertebrates from grass and soft vegetation and is ideal for students and those new to entomology. The long handle and foam grip provides a comfortable reach and excellent control of the net. The frame is made from lightweight aluminium and the soft calico bag attaches to this using strong velcro making it easy to remove for washing or to replace the bag.
