About this book

In this, his crowning manifesto on behalf of continued space exploration and travel, legendary space statesman Buzz Aldrin argues passionately and articulately for continuing to push the boundaries of our knowledge of the universe and, specifically, for focussing assets, intellect, and policy toward sending humans to the planet Mars by the year 2032.

A pioneering astronaut and a rocket scientist who helped develop the orbital rendezvous technique critical to America's moon landings, in Mission to Mars: My Vision for Space Exploration Aldrin presents his unified space vision by tracking the history of space flight and plotting the path of future exploration and discovery that must be followed for the United States and the world to reach his stated goal.
