This book is based on the TV special "Dinosaur Super World 2" broadcast by NHK, the Japan Broadcasting Corporation, in March 2023. The ecology and fate of strange and gigantic dinosaurs in the mysterious continent of Gondwana in the southern hemisphere, which created an ecosystem different from that of Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops, is completely recreated with rich visuals based on ultra-high-definition computer graphics. There is a theory that Gondwana is the birthplace of dinosaurs, and the existence of dinosaurs that survived a meteorite impact has also been suggested. The book was supervised by popular dinosaur scientist Kaiji Kobayashi and earth and planetary scientist Seiji Sugita.
