B. Ahilan is working as Dean, Dr.MGR Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamilnadu Dr Jayalalitha Fisheries University, Ponneri. He has put in 31 years of teaching, research and extension experience in this college. He did his PhD dissertation on the breeding and culture of goldfish (Carassius auratus). He has completed several research projects sponsored by various Central and State government agencies in the areas of Culture and breeding of ornamental fishes, Fish Nutrition and Training of fish farmers.
A. Kamalii is a PG scholar from the Department of Aquaculture, Dr M.G.R Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri. She is currently working on "Influence of dietary supplementation of black solider fly larvae incorporated with moringa leaf powder on growth performance and colour enhancement of goldfish (Carassius auratus) juveniles".
