For each tree, generalities referring especially to the characters of the native species are given, as well as phytogeographical data and photos of some details of taxonomic value. A classification scheme of the studied species is added and the subfamilies, tribes and subtribes to which they belong are recorded. It includes a dichotomous key to all the species that can be found in Argentina.
