About this book
The Nakanai Mountains and Muller Range in Papua New Guinea are best known for their karst environments, extensive cave systems that have long attracted enthusiastic explorers. These mountains have been included on the World Heritage Tentative List since 2006 but until now information on their flora and fauna was incomplete. This book presents the results of three surveys conducted in 2008 and 2009 that collected data on birds, mammals, herpetofauna, and selected invertebrate species, and makes specific conservation recommendations for these unique karst environments.
