Biography

John Farndon studied Earth Science at Cambridge University, UK, and has written a number of books and articles on the subject since, including Dorling Kindersley's Dictionary of the Earth, and the Rocks and Minerals section of their multimedia Earth science project. He has also written The Rock and Crystal Collection (Sterling), Collecting Minerals (Sterling) and Rocks and Minerals (Benchmark Books).
