This hand-held waterproof thermometer uses a K-type thermocouple sensor together with an advanced microprocessor to deliver accurate temperature measurement with an impressive 1600 hour battery life. There is a battery level indication with low battery warning allows for precise management of battery life.
The Waterproof Digital Thermometer unit displays the current temperature along with the minimum and maximum reached during the session on a dual-level LCD. A HOLD button provides the user time to record readings and the °C/°F button instantly switches between the Celsius and Fahrenheit ranges. The Waterproof Digital Thermometer is supplied with a choice of three probes, batteries, protective case and instructions. The Surface Probe is a general purpose probe for measuring air or surface temperatures and it measures 3.2 x 100mm. The Flexible Wire Probe is a flexible stainless steel probe, suitable for measuring even high temperatures with a maximum of 1100°C, a response time of 4 seconds and it measures 1.5 x 255mm. The General Purpose Probe is suitable for measuring liquids, air or gasses, has a maximum temperature of 900°C and measures 5 x 220mm.
