I bought the guide during a course given by Weylin Tracking. This sturdy guide turned out to be very handy to use. The format is practical, and because the traces are displayed in actual size, you can compare them nicely with what you have found. Important details are clearly displayed. What I like, is that this guide lets you look at animal tracks in a fun way without getting bogged down in a large amount of measurement data. Highly recommended!

The Weylin Field Guide is just one of those things that always should be taken with you when you go outdoors. It is a practical field guide: the text is plain and simple with plenty of clear images. It will fit in most coat pockets. It is weatherproof.
I guess that with Tracks of West European Animals everybody is able to identify most tracks he/she will find in Great Britain and abroad. Whether you are a novice tracker, an expert or just a general lover of the natural world this guide does the job.

"The field guide released by Weylin Tracking is highly recommended for everyone interested in this fascinating topic. Because of its compact size, the clarity of the drawings and extra information about tracks and gaits it became a item I always carry around in my field bag. [...] This guide is both recommended for beginners as well as more experienced trackers."
– Dirk Van Der Meiren, nature guide
"Since the day I own this field guide it is in my backpack. [...] It is amazing how many drawings and information fits in such a compact guide. Not only recommendable because of its scientific value, but also because of its size and weather resistance. A guide that everyone, besides coffee and sandwhiches, should carry in their backpacks."
– Hans Hasper, Eagle Owl researcher
