Biography

Dr Charles Nelson was senior research botanist and horticultural taxonomist at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin. He authored/co-authored many books about gardens and plants and presented a series of television programmes for RTE entitled 'A Growing Obssession' (about Irish gardens), and for many years contributed to the radio programme 'Sunday Miscellany.'
