An annual publication aimed at zookeepers and workers around the world. Each Yearbook is divided into three main sections. The first is devoted to the year's special topic. Section 2 covers new developments in the zoo world, for instance in breeding, husbandry and research, hand-rearing, buildings and exhibits. Section 3 is a reference section with information on zoos, aquaria and bird parks of the world, breeding lists and rare animal census, studbooks and registers.
