Val Kells (Kill Devil Hills, NC) is an award-winning marine science illustrator. She is the co-author and illustrator of A Field Guide to Coastal Fishes: From Maine to Texas and A Field Guide to Coastal Fishes: From Alaska to California. Luiz A. Rocha (Greenbrae, CA) is a curator and Follett Chair of Ichthyology at the California Academy of Sciences and the coauthor of A Field Guide to Coastal Fishes: From Alaska to California. Carole C. Baldwin (Arlington, VA) is a curator and chair of vertebrate zoology at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History. She is the co-author of One Fish, Two Fish, Crawfish, Bluefish: The Smithsonian Sustainable Seafood Cookbook.
