The guide features a number of short introductory chapters, a determination key, and identification part describing and showing the species. Each species is given a two-page spread, with a short description of its traits, biotope, flowering time, and preferred soil type. The focus is on the images though, with a habitat photo and several detailed photos highlighting identifying characteristics for each species.

Per soort is er een korte beschrijving van de kenmerken, biotoop, bloeitijd en bodemtype. De nadruk ligt op het beeld; voor elke soort wordt een overzichtsfoto van de groeiplaats getoond, plus verschillende foto’s die inzoomen op de onderscheidende kenmerken.
