This Batlogger Microphone Cable WTG Adapter and Tester is for use with the Batlogger C. This device is designed for use on wind turbines: it has a long 5m cable and comes with an adaptor to attach it to the turbine. It increases the distance the microphone can be sited from the bat detector/monitor by up to two metres, allowing flexibility when deciding where to position the microphone. The microphone is attached to one end of the cable, and the bat detector at the other. An integrated test tone generator helps to enable reliable, unattended operation and allows its functioning to be monitored with daily test measurements.
A built-in tripod socket lets you mount the microphone in a variety of ways. Although the microphone is held very securely, it can also be easily and rapidly changed by hand in the field.
