This is the third part to deal with the butterfly family Hesperiidae, covering the subfamily Pyrrhopyginae. This is the plates volume with short texts, whereas volume 49 contains the detailed text. In the plates presented here, all species and subspecies of Pyrrhopyginae, Hesperiidae, are illustrated in dorsal and ventral views and in both sexes wherever possible, followed by their geographical distributions. Pyrrhopyginae is represented by 50 genera, 220 species and 142 subspecies.
