This report analyzes the characteristics of extreme weather and climate events and disasters in China, and assesses their impact on disaster risk management and adaptation-related issues. It also reports on the latest research progress and achievements at home and abroad in the fields of extreme weather and climate adaptation and disaster risk management and other aspects, and summarizes proposed courses of action and strategy choices for disaster risk management in China.
