This is an updated second edition of Mary Welsh's walks, covering the delightful area from the Irish Sea to the Trough of Bowland and from Kirkby Lonsdale in the north to Cliviger in the south. Lancashire has a great variety of landscape. Mary Welsh lives in the Cumbrian village of Broughton- in- Furness. She has written a number of books on waterfalls and walks in her favourite areas which, in addition to the Yorkshire Dales, include the Lake District and Skye. She is well known for her walking articles in The Times.
