About this book

Language: French

Trees change with the seasons and their identification can be carried out using specific criteria: leaves or flowers in the spring, fruits in autumn, and buds in winter.

Four successive determination keys, with the help of questions and clear answers illustrated by numerous photos, lead the reader step-by-step to the sought species. These keys are complemented by the portraits of deciduous trees, conifers and shrubs. Each of the 179 species is represented by photos and diagrams showing details of different organs (flowers, fruits, buds, bark) as well as by a photo showing the tree or shrub as a whole.
