Large Professional Hand Net with Wooden Handle (300mm Wide)

This sturdy hand net is for routine aquatic sampling, field centre use and sampling of rivers and streams. The wooden handle ensures comfortable handling, even in cold weather, whilst also ensuring the net will float if dropped into water. The large 300mm frame size is well suited for amphibian surveying and is also the standard kick net size for aquatic sampling in many European countries.

The net attaches to the frame via an inner brass ring which is held in place using plastic brackets and fixing screws. This means that the collar of the back is protected from abrasion when the net is used for kick sampling. The bags can also be easily changed for washing or replacement. Spare net bags are also available to purchase separately.

Available with 250µm, 500µm, 1mm, 2mm or 5mm mesh. Bags are 500mm deep.
