Biography

David Wege is a passionate naturalist, birdwatcher, wildlife photographer, illustrator and author. After a long career in international biodiversity conservation, David now teaches tracking in the UK, following a path of encouraging others to deepen their connection with the other-than-human beings around us. Combining his deep knowledge of tracks with artistry and illustration, David hopes that this book will help others engage with the art of tracking. David is co-author, with John Rhyder, of Bird Tracks: A Field Guide to British Species (2024).
