About this product

The Motic 2820 provides a unique, hassle-free microscopy solution for schools and universities and is designed for viewing slides in close focus. Illumination is provided by dimmable LEDs which offer bright white lighting with no heat; ideal for delicate specimens. The microscope also uses an internal rechargeable battery pack which means that it can be used cordless.

Eyepieces are located on a column with 45˚ inclination and 360˚ rotation for comfortable viewing. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 55 and 75mm. The eyepiece has 18mm diameter and 10x magnification. Objective lenses are located on a revolving turret and have 4x, 10x and 40x magnification, providing an overall magnification of 40x, 100x or 400x. The stage measures 133 x 136mm and has a sample holder. The Motic 2820 has a coaxial coarse and fine focusing system with tension adjustment for precise control of specimen viewing. Also available in a trinocular version, the Motic 2823 LED Cordless Microscope.

Supplied with a dust cover, charger (100-240V) and batteries.
