About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish

The preparation of this book has been a long and complex process. It photographically documents the nine birds of prey of the Canaries in nine chapters: the Osprey, Egyptian Vulture, Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Common Buzzard, Barn Owl, Long-eared Owl, Common Kestrel, Barbary Falcon and Eleonora's Falcon. This book shows their nature, the enormous diversity of their lives. Photographers Jesús Palmero and Nicolás Trujillo dedicated day and night, and some of these photos took twenty years of hard work. In the Canaries, such a comprehensive book on birds of prey has never been produced before.
