These Small Setting Boards are made from Balsa wood and are ideal for the preparation of Micro-Lepidoptera. Available in three sizes with groove widths of 1, 2 or 3mm. 

These boards are continental style and have sloped sides.

  • Who sets insects with their wings angled like that?

    I ordered these without noticing the comment about the slides being sloping. I can't imagine why I would want to set insects with their wings inclined like that. They're going straight back. I would be very happy to look at balsa wood boards that are flat, which seem like a very good idea.
