This volume of animals of Hebei deals with the Order Araneae, Class Arachnida, Subphylum Chelicerata, Phylum Arthropoda. A total of 141 genera, 296 species belonging to 2 suborders and 34 families are described in this issue. Three species of the family Salticidae are new to science.
