Dr. Olafur Arnalds is the dean of the division of Environmental Research at the Agricultural Research Institute of Reykjavik (Iceland). He is specialized in Icelandic soils, in volcanic soil resources, cryosols and remote sensing and GIS applications for land use decisions and policymakers.
