Handmade from solid FSC certified timber and recycled agricultural plastic and developed in partnership with owl conservationists, this durable box provides a safe nesting site for breeding Barn Owls. The lightweight design makes it easy to install and the box is delivered flat-packed to allow for easy transportation. Fitted with a camera clip which will enable you to attach a camera for monitoring of the nest. It also has drilled drainage holes, a deep interior space for chicks and a large front inspection hatch with bolt. 

Barn Owl boxes should be positioned high up (2.5 - 5m) on a tree or building/barn on the edge of woodland, in an easterly facing position with a clear flight path. Barns Owls should not be encouraged to nest within ¹/₂ mile of major roads.

Please Note: Barn Owls are a Schedule 1 protected species in the UK which means it is illegal to disturb breeding Barn Owls unless you are licensed to do so.
