Volume 4 of the Flora Iberica deals with the vascular plants of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands and specifically with the families Cruciferae-Monotropaceae, which also includes the Sisymbrbieae, Anchonieae, Arabideae, Alyssseae, Lepidieae, Brassiceae, Empetraeceae, and Pyrolaceae; not only its descriptive part but also appendices with abbreviated indications and equivalences, extensions of the names contained in the text; as well as their respective plate indexes, and vernacular and scientific names. In the introduction that this work of systematic botany has, the basic herbaria and the personnel who have collaborated in this volume, abbreviations and general key are also collected; all of which contributes to the knowledge of these important families that continues the study of angiosperms.

Esta edición del volumen IV de Flora Iberica, trata de las plantas vasculares de la Península Ibérica e Islas Baleares y en específico de las familias Cruciferae -Monotropaceae, que comprende además las Sisymbrbieae, Anchonieae, Arabideae, Alyssseae, Lepidieae, Brassiceae, Empetraceae y Pyrolaceae; no solo de su parte descriptiva sino que incluye apéndices con las indicaciones abreviadas y equivalencias, ampliaciones de los nombres contenidos en el texto; así como sus respectivos índices de láminas, y nombres vernáculos y científicos. En la introducción con que cuenta esta obra de botánica sistemática, se recogen además los herbarios básicos y el personal que han colaborado en este volumen, abreviaturas y clave general; todo lo cual contribuye al conocimiento de estas importantes familias que continúan el estudio de las angiospermas.
