The 36 genera are treated in alphabetical order, comprising altogether 201 species: Adenostemma (4 spp.), Ageratina (26 ssp.), Ageratum (2 ssp.), Aristeguietia (9 ssp.), Asplundianthus (3 ssp.), Austroeupatorium (2 ssp.), Ayapana (3 ssp.), Ayapanopsis (3 ssp.), Badilloa (2 ssp.), Bartlettina (1 sp.), Brickellia (1 sp.), Chromolaena (5 ssp.), Condylidium (1 sp.), Condylopodium (1 sp.), Critonia (3 ssp.), Critoniella (2 ssp.), Cronquistianthus (9 ssp.), Crossothamnus (1 sp.), Fleischmannia (14 ssp.), Gongrostylus (1 sp.), Grosvenoria (4 ssp.), Guevaria (3 ssp.), Hebeclinium (6 ssp.), Heterocondylus (1 sp.), Isocarpha (2 ssp.), Kaunia (2 ssp.), Koanophyllon (2 ssp.), Mikania (62 ssp.), Neomirandea (1 sp.), Ophryosporus (6 ssp.), Phalacraea (1 sp.), Polyanthina (1 sp.), Praxelis (0 sp.), Sciadocephala (4 ssp.), Stevia (12 ssp.), and Tuberostylis (1 sp.).
