The second volume of the Flora of Oman treats 277 taxa in 33 families of flowering plants. In the treatment of each family, keys are provided to genera as well as to all species within a genus. Species descriptions are concise and include notes on distribution, habitat, flowering and fruiting times, conservation status, and uses. Relevant synonyms, and vernacular names, where known, are given.
The accompanying CD-ROM includes photographs of most of the species in this and volume 1.
